Manual Instructions#
This manual includes symbology settings, function settings (lighting, keyboard type and factory reset, etc.) and interface settings. If you need to change the functions you need, just scan the configuration according to the Parameter Barcode below. All with (*) indicate factory default values.
Version Information#
Scan the “Version Information” Parameter Barcode to allow the host to quickly read the current device version.

Parameter Barcode Scanning#
By turning on the Parameter Barcode function, you can configure the parameters of the Scan Engine by scanning the Parameter Barcode.
Note
When modifying the configuration through the Parameter Barcode, the entire current flag bit list will be saved to the memory, that is, the configuration configured through the serial port but not saved will also be saved together.

Transmit Parameter Barcode Data#
Whether to output the Parameter Barcode content, you can configure the parameters of the Scan Engine by scanning the following Parameter Barcode.

User Default Settings#
Save Current Configuration As User Default# |
Restore User Factory Default Settings# |
Users can save their frequently used configurations as user default settings. By scanning “Save current settings as user default settings”, the current configuration information of the device can be saved as user default settings information. After this operation, the new configuration information will replace the original user default settings information. By scanning “Restore User Default Settings”, the Scan Engine can be switched to user default settings.
Power Control#
Sleep Mode#
This parameter determines the power mode of the module. In sleep mode, the Scan Engine enters sleep state as much as possible (can be awakened by wake-up command)

Scan the following Parameter Barcode to set the buzzer as a passive or active buzzer.

Decode Beeper Tone#
The resonant frequency of the buzzer used by the user may be different from the default frequency. You can adjust the frequency of the decoding beep by scanning the following Parameter Barcode. Default is 2700Hz.
Scan the “Buzzer Frequency” Parameter Barcode
Buzzer Frequency#
Scan the “Numeric Barcode”. For example, if the frequency is 1500Hz, sweep 1, 5, 0, 0; if the frequency is 2700Hz, sweep 2, 7, 0, 0
Scan the “OK” Parameter Barcode to complete the setup.

Decode Beep Duration#
Users can set the duration of the decoding beep as needed, the default is 50ms.

Scan the “Numeric Barcode”. For example, if the duration is 50ms, scan 5,0; if the duration is 200ms, scan 2,0,0
